Superior Recruitment Group are working with a key client based in Aberdeen who require a Senior Cost Engineer. This is a Permanent position to join their Engineering and Construction team. This role reports directly to the Lead Cost Engineer. The candidate must have experience of: * Reviewing and updating Monthly Cost reports including VOWD commitments and forecasts through each phase of the job. * Informing and advising the Project Manager/ Senior Management and key contract stakeholders on the cost performance and notifying of any cost risks or issues should they arise. * Supporting Project Controls Function. Qualifications/Experience required: * Experience in similar position * Proven oil&gas industry experience * Experience of Brown field Modifications * Proficient ability to prepare cost reports * Experience in Microsoft Excel * Proficient knowledge in Mpower or other Cost software and related principles, tools and techniques including budgeting, forecasting and cash flow. * Understanding of Project Management principles * Understanding of Cost Management, Change Control, Planning&Risk Management * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written * Ability to work as part of a team and independently * Effective organisation and planning skills * Commitment to continual Improvement * Ability to guide and mentor
