FINTEC recruit is seeking a Senior Electrical/Electronics Design Engineer for our international oil and gas/marine client.  This is a permanent position, based in Aberdeen.  Salary is negotiable by experience plus, benefits e.g. medical cover, matched pension etc.  The company operate a hybrid working policy.   You will have management experience, supervising a small team of electrical/electronic engineers. Responsibilities: Providing engineering design solutions, design input to new products Technical lead for electrical, electronics and embedded software engineering team. Sourcing best components and materials when required Involved in creation of bill of materials and engineering documents eg specifications, proposals, assembly instructions, test procedures and reports Checking engineering drawings and relevant documentation Manage team performance and work allocation etc Skills and Experience required for the Electrical and Electronics Design Engineer Electrical/electronic engineering degree or equivalent industry experience Extensive circuit design, PCB layout and embedded software (MPLAB, ST32) Good knowledge of electrical systems and designing for EMC compliance Good knowledge of PCB design software such as Altium Designer (schematic capture&Layout) AutoCAD Electrical, generating design calculations Knowledge from working in marine, subsea or oil and gas work environments and understanding of IMCA guidelines Previous product design would be an advantage Full details of the Electrical&Electronics Design Engineer is available on application.  To apply please submit your current CV or apply via our FINTEC recruit web site
