Position: Shunter Driver Location: Banbury Duration: Adhoc holiday cover throughout June and July Salary: Days: GBP 14.20 / Nights GBP 17.57p.h Pertemps are looking for a Shunter Driver to cover a various adhoc holiday dates for our client based in Banbury using a Tug unit. Duties will include: Reporting to the Shift Manager Being responsible for the safe movement of trailer units Manoeuvring both laden and unladen trailers around the site, onto storage or loading bays Using a Tug unit Coupling and uncoupling of trailers Adhering to strict Health and Safety guidelines and company procedures To be considered for this role you will need to live within a 30:minute commute of Banbury and have the following skills, qualifications and experience: Must hold an HGV 1 UK driving licence (Cat CE) Experience using a Tug Unit is an advantage. Must have at least 180 days experience driving a Class 1 vehicle in the UK in the last 2 years. Have a maximum of 6 points for minor offences, no DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes. Hold a valid CPC DQC Hold a valid Tachograph Card Previous experience using a Tug unit would be an advantage.
