Part of a team of engineers, youll be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of forklifts both in the workshop and in the field. No stay away or extensive travel is required. Excellent OTE available through overtime and commission. The Mechanical Technician Role in Brief: : Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis : Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area : Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment : Spares placed in van overnight The Mechanical Technician Person Required: : Plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment, automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable : Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject : IT literate
