Job Title: Credentialed Trainer Salary: Band 5,£27,055 - £29,180 annually Location: Clarendon Dock, Belfast Hours: 37.5 hours per week Duration: Temporary Job Purpose: Health&Social Care NI (HSCNI) has established encompass to provide the underpinning digital transformation required to support the broader HSC reform agenda. HSCNI has developed and procured may different ICT solutions to provide digital services to our health and social care professionals. Many of these systems are reaching their‘end of life’ and may no longer be supported by current suppliers and there is a need to urgently replace these systems. You will be part of the Business Change training team who will be delivering training of our new encompass EPR clinical system to every member of staff needing access to thesystem across the Health&Social Care Trust NI. You will be responsible for delivering training on at least one application within the encompass system and will be teaching classes of up to 20 people over a 8-12 week period. Prior to delivering the training, you will support the updating of training materials by providing feedback to Principal Trainers; Analysts and Subject Matter Experts in the Trust with suggested improvements / changes to curriculum content. You will provide support during Go-Live and work with Super Users to ensure end users are confident using the system. This position would be ideal for health professionals who would be keen to work as peer trainers or to anyone with an interest in training and development Main Responsibilities: 1. Attend and pass the Epic Credentialing Program for Health&Social Care NI. 2. Develop a strong understanding of the Epic application(s) as implemented at HSC NI 3. Conduct clinical software training classes for the HSC NI community of workforce members as assigned based on credentialing competency. 4. Work with the Principal trainers to prepare approved materials while meeting project timelines. 5. Work closely with the Principal Trainers to ensure that training material and content are updated in line with system changes 6. Recommend adjustments and updates to learning materials and curriculum as needed 7. Administer End User Proficiency Assessments. 8. Assist with creating course materials and documents such as handouts, manuals, eLearning and other educational colleterial. While updating existing content and supporting the creation of a trust wide learning library which can be accessed by all trust employees 9. Maintain training records in the encompass learning management system 10. Provide status reports and updates in a timely manner throughout the project. 11. Facilitate and deliver high quality training encompass training experience for HSCNI 12. Effectively facilitate training courses/workshops/events using a range of delivery methods, activities, resources and feedback to meet the needs of all learners 13. Ensure there is a consistently high standard of training delivery during the deployment of encompass across the region. 14. Evaluate the learning and development programmes making recommendations as how to improve the programme to increase its impact at individual, team and organisational levels 15. Have a visible presence across multiple sites and engage both clinical and non-clinical areas educating and supporting our colleagues 16. Participate in out of hours work e.g. weekends, evenings as and when required. In particular, during the training period and around go-live (this needs to be confirmed by HR in line with T&C) Qualifications/Experience: 1. Degree / Diploma or other nursing qualification allowing registration with NMC and Registered on Part 1 (Branch– Adult / * Children’s Nurse ) of the NMC register. OR Degree / Diploma or other Allied Health Professional qualification and Currently registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. OR 1. Hold a degree, or relevant Professional Qualification or equivalent, or higher qualification and 1 years’ experience delivering presentations or customer engagement in a Training/ Learning&Development, Sales and Marketing, Systems Training, Admin or Human Resources role OR Certificate in Personnel Practice, or Certificate in Training Practice, or equivalent and 2 years’ experience delivering presentations or customer engagement in a Training/ Learning&Development, Sales, Systems Training, Admin and Marketing or Human Resources role OR 4 years’ experience delivering presentations or customer engagement in a Training/ Learning&Development, Sales, Systems training, Admin and Marketing or Human Resources role AND 1. Have willingness to attend and successfully complete the Epic Credentialing Program within 6 months of appointment 2. Demonstrable the ability to deliver and evaluate training programmes 3.
