What will you be doing: * Be actively involved in supporting pupils’ day-to-day learning and development. * Supporting communication and language development through the use of British Sign Language * Supporting ongoing assessment, recording, and reporting of pupils’ progress. * Ensuring that all pupils receive a high standard of physical and emotional care. * Support pupils' personal care and medical needs where necessary. * Supporting the class teacher with delivering lessons both inside and outside the classroom. What do you need: * A strong understanding and knowledge of British Sign Language * An understanding of children’s development needs. * Experience working with children or adults with additional needs. * Ability to work as part of a supportive and encouraging team. * Enhanced DBS (can be obtained during the interview process) Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday – Friday (Term Time only) Salary: £22,500– £29,550 FTE per annum (actual salary based on experience) About The School: The school is a place where pupils with Severe&Complex Learning Disabilities, aged 2-19 years enjoy learning and value their relationships with each other and staff.
