Job Title: Business Development Manager - Irish Logistics Freight Forwarder Location: Bristol Salary:£45,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience) Headford Group is currently recruiting on behalf of our client, an Irish logistics freight forwarder, seeking a talented and experienced Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be based around the Bristol to London to Southampton area, with a focus on increasing sales and conducting face-to-face meetings. Key Responsibilities: • Focus on road freight, particularly UK to Ireland and UK to Europe. • Increase sales and maintain existing client relationships within the designated territory. • Conduct a minimum of 2 days of face-to-face meetings per week. • Work remotely but submit weekly reports detailing activities and progress. • Avoid travel north of the specified area to maximize customer-facing time. • Leverage the presence of Irish trailers in the designated area to maximize business opportunities. • Collaborate with partners to cover UK to mainland Europe shipments. • Possess knowledge of airfreight and seafreight, with experience being advantageous.
