Infrastructure Consultant Contract Duration: 3 weeks initially Location: Hybrid, Bristol Job Type: Contract Reed Professional Services is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant to assess and address critical issues within the Microsoft Certificate Authority. This role involves providing expert advice and a strategic approach to resolve existing challenges with the deployment of Windows 11 and related network issues. Day-to-day of the role: Conduct a thorough assessment of Microsoft on-prem PKI to identify and understand the core issues. Provide an independent view and strategic recommendations on the best approaches for resolving the issues. Work closely with internal teams and Microsoft to expedite solutions. Lead and drive the solution process, offering expert advice and innovative ideas to streamline and enhance system operations. Required Skills& Qualifications: Minimum of 7 years of experience in an infrastructure role with a specialized Microsoft skillset. Extensive experience with Active Directory, Windows 11, and other Microsoft technologies. Profound knowledge of Windows Server 2019, as all certificates and applications are based on this platform. Expertise in Certificate Authority, specifically with Microsoft PKI certificates. Experience with the 8021x platform for configuration and deployment. Excellent communication and strong written skills. Proactive and leadership-oriented, capable of driving solutions in an advisory capacity.
