We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading facilities management company, who are looking for a skilled engineer to join their team on a large site in Bristol. Position: Mechanical Engineer Location: Bristol Salary: GBP35,600k per annum Role: Static Benefits: 24 days holiday + 8 days bank holidays, Monday to Friday days, No call outs Timings: 7am :3:30pm, following week 10am :6:30pm The Role: As a Facilities Maintenance Air Conditioning Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of air conditioning systems on a large site in Plymouth. This role will involve diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and ensuring all HVAC equipment is running efficiently to maintain a comfortable and safe environment. Key Responsibilities: * Routine Inspections: Regularly inspect mechanical systems and equipment. * Maintenance Planning: Develop schedules and procedures for maintenance tasks. * Repairs and Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues. * Part Replacement: Identify and replace faulty parts and components. * Emergency Response: Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies. * Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. * Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities. * Collaboration: Coordinate with other maintenance staff and contractors. * Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. * Training: Stay updated with industry developments and provide training to staff. * Pumps, motors, plumbing, heating, valves, boilers, pipes, water supply, sprinklers Qualifications and Experience Required: * Level 2/ 3 in mechanical discipline (air conditioning, plumbing, mechanical engineering, pipefitter, fitter) Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
