Interaction recruitments are proud to be recruiting for a Catering Assistant on behalf of our client based in Cambridge.
The successful candidate will work in our clients in house canteen/restaurant, you will be responsible for the following:· Work front-of-house, serving customers food, working on the till&cash handling.· Customer focused at all times by being visible during service periods, approachable and
quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer needs.
· Assist with the day-to-day running of the Space Bar restaurant
· Help the Catering Manager and Chefs to get ready for service by preparing food
· Catering Assistants will be expected to peel, trim or wash food so it is ready to be cooked
· Make sandwiches, paninis and salads, and associated tasks, to a high standard
· Help produce food of an impeccable standard while adhering to health and safety
regulations
· Kitchen cleaning, including but not limited to washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces,
floors and walls
· Ensure the highest level of cleanliness, including while working, is achieved in all catering
work areas.
You will have experience within a Hospitality and Catering setting and a strong understanding of customer service
Temp - Perm/ Straight perm position dependent our clients preference.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday - 9am-2:30pm (25hrs per week)- £11.55ph (increased rate in April) TBC
