ROLE: New Product Definition Engineer LOCATION: Cambridge, UK VISA SPONSORSHIP POSSIBLE Responsibilities: : Actively engage in hands:on design verification testing and characterization of first:sample ICs in the lab. : Validate innovative topologies and product ideas using advanced simulation tools and lab prototypes prior to IC design. : Design power supplies utilizing our clients solutions for validation and customer demonstration purposes. : Collaborate closely with the IC design team to ensure implementations meet system requirements. : Contribute to the development of innovative IC:based system solutions aligned with customer and market demands for SMPS and lighting ballast applications. Education and Experience: : A first or upper second:class degree (BSc/MSc/BEng/MEng) in Electronics or Electrical Engineering. : Suitable for recent graduates or candidates who have completed a PhD. : 1:2 years of practical experience is desirable but not essential. Skills Required: : Strong interest in electronics hardware design, particularly in power supply design. : Excellent analytical and practical skills. : Proficiency in lab work and confident use of lab equipment. : Proven ability to create accurate and concise technical documentation, including lab evaluation and simulation reports. : Experience with simulation tools is essential.
