This school specialises in supporting children aged 6:11 years with communication challenges, often associated with Aspergers Syndrome and Autism. The campus is closely linked with another local site, sharing the same Principal and Head of School, while each location has its own Assistant Head and dedicated teams of Teachers and Teaching Assistants. They also offer a comprehensive on:site therapy team to support both staff and students. While each site operates independently, collaboration between staff and students across both locations is encouraged. Requirements * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential. * A degree in English or a related field is highly desirable. * Experience teaching English up to GCSE level. * Previous experience in a special school environment is highly advantageous. * A strong passion for working with children who have special educational needs.
