This exciting opportunity can be based across Leeds, Birmingham, Chester and Sheffield with Hybrid working from home. You will be part of a large analytical team of 100+ individuals working across functions to manage risk. With multiple teams across the risk department, there are plenty of opportunities to grow and develop in your way As an integral part of the Model Management and Operations team within RCR Analytics, you will spend your time: :Leading Oversight of Model Risk Controls : Supporting model and control owners to operate in line with the Global Model Risk Framework and Policy, ensuring robust design and execution of key controls. :Acting as Primary Model Risk Contact : Serving as the key liaison between Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) risk UK and stakeholders including Group Retail Credit Risk, Model Risk Management, Audit and the Model Risk Owner. :Providing Oversight of Policy Compliance and Remediation : Monitoring compliance with global policy within risk appetite, communicating model risk issues to stakeholders, and supporting remediation through deep subject matter expert knowledge of model risk standards and expectations. :Managing self:attestation of compliance with PRA regulations for Regulatory Capital models : Lead the self:assessment of compliance against CRR, SS and any other relevant regulation for all rating systems with WPB UK risk, identifying and escalating issues and appropriate evidence of compliance. :Managing Completion of 1st Line of Defence Post Model Reviews : Providing oversight, review and challenge and presenting recommendations to the Model Owner with recom
