The role of Product Specialist Trader will be responsible for performing trade execution across a range of asset classes and markets for HSBC UK's Advisory, Discretionary and Execution Only business. This role will also work as part of a team that covers the US market between the hours of 13:30 : 21:30 on a rota basis, therefore the successful candidate must have the flexibility to work to this schedule. In this role you will: : Perform trade execution of equities, fixed income, funds, FX (spot and forward), bullion, Dual Currency Investments and OTC derivatives will be required. : Have direct client contact to confirm investment instructions, relay market and pricing information and explain the trading capabilities of the desk. : Provide support to Investment Counsellors and Relationship Managers, including order entry into Front Office systems. : Promote execution capabilities both internally and to Private Bank's client base : Work closely with Back Office and Operations on process enhancements and investigation of failed trades To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements: : Significant experience of performing trade execution : essential : In:depth working knowledge of a range of asset classes is essential, specifically Bonds, FX, and Equities would be desirable : Private Banking or Wealth Management experience : essential : A very high level of attention to detail, and an ability to work well under pressure : CISI Level 4 qualified or equivalent regulated qualifications : essential This role is based in London.
