Commissioning Engineer
Ipswich
Monday to Friday– 9am>5pm£35,000>£40,000 (DOE)

Reporting directly to the Product Director, this role will work closely with not only the Engineering team, but key equipment suppliers and End Customers.
Once fully trained, this role will also offer significant periods of travel both within the UK and internationally.
KEY DUTIES
Lead commissioning activities of new repeat build machines and NPD projects.
Driving continuous improvement through feedback to mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering disciplines.
Manage upgrade installation&validation exercises on existing machines.
Contribute to all associated documentation including machine manuals, qualification protocols, SOP’s and future machine URS documentation.
Ownership of machine settings, logs, and changes.
Work closely with Controls Engineers on machine analytics.
YOU
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in commissioning equipment, ideally internationally.
Excellent all-round electromechanical understanding.
Understanding of PLC’s (it would be advantageous to be able to write or modify structured text code).
Ability to read electrical and pneumatic circuit diagrams.
Knowledge of different motor drive technologies such as Servo, DC, Stepper and AC motors.
Strong cause-effect analytical abilities.
