Engineering Manager duties include - Provide technical support to the production and engineering staff within the operation and maintenance of jigs, fixtures, tooling and assemblies. Analyse production processes, methods, schedules, downtime, cycle times, availability of machines, and waste management. Fully support the RFQ process to ensure that business requirements are adhered to. Take lead Process Engineering projects and continuous improvement activities. Ensure that H&S and Quality Management Systems are adhered to.Engineering Manager desirable skills and experience - Experience working within a similar role (Manufacturing Manager etc). A proven track record of success in leading and motivating teams. A hands-on, "get things done" attitude. Proactive work ethic and self-motivation to drive continuous improvement.
