Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the daily activities of the nursery, including play, learning, and mealtimes. * Help plan and deliver activities that support childrens physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth. * Ensure the safety, health, and well:being of all children in your care. * Build positive relationships with children, encouraging their confidence and independence. * Work collaboratively with nursery staff and teachers to foster a supportive and inclusive environment. * Help prepare and tidy the nursery or classroom, keeping the space clean and organised. * Observe and monitor childrens progress, contributing to records and reports as needed. * Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on their childs development. Requirements: * Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable. * Caring, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting childrens development. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is advantageous. * Relevant childcare qualifications (such as NVQ Level 2 or 3) are beneficial but not essential. * Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
