The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality early childhood education, fostering a positive learning environment, and ensuring the well-being of the school’s youngest learners. Early Years Teaching Assistant responsibilities: * Classroom Support: * Assist the lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities. * Provide individualized support to students as needed. * Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. *Child Development: * Monitor and assess the development of each child, reporting any concerns to the lead teacher. * Support the implementation of developmental assessments and observations. * Safety and Well-being: * Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times. * Assist with dailyroutines, including meals, naps, and outdoor activities. * Communication: * Maintain open and effective communication with parents, keeping them informed of their child's progress. * Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and best practices. * Classroom Management: * Assist in maintaininga well-organized and stimulating learning environment. * Support the implementation of positive behaviour management strategies. The ideal Early Years Teaching Assistant will have: * Previous experience working with early years or preschool-aged children is preferred. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. * First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
