The Role: As Project Manager, you will: * Lead and manage all aspects of the highways project from inception to completion. * Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. * Manage and coordinate the work of engineers, site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Monitor progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement solutions to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget. * Maintain strong relationships with clients (e.g., local authorities, transport agencies), stakeholders, and regulatory authorities. * Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, environmental regulations, and quality standards. * Manage the projects commercial aspects, including contract administration and variation control. What Were Looking For: * A proven track record in project management within the highways sector, ideally with experience of delivering significant projects in urban environments. * Strong understanding of highway construction techniques, regulations, and best practices. * Excellent knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and cost control methodologies. * Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. * A proactive and solutions:oriented approach to problem:solving, with a commitment to delivering projects on time and within budget.
