I am recruiting a Regional Director role within Infrastructure for a major highways business to head up their Design team. Working alongside the Infrastructure Managing Director, they will act as the central coordinating point on all matters design related across the programme / portfolio of Projects. Playing an active role in work planning and delivery, this role also incorporates line management, mentoring as well as Project Management accountabilities. As part of the QA hierarchy, this role also incorporates key responsibilities in the check and review process across the programme of projects to ensure that quality assurance is delivered on all projects delivered within the team. This role will involve building upon the existing external relationships you have with contractor clients and other consultants. You will ideally be a Civil Engineer by discipline and the role will entail the following additional responsibilities:- 1. Business development and expansion into a wider marketplace; 2. Business development and expansion into the internal marketplace; 3. A focus on the day-to-day management of the Infrastructure team. 4. Appointment to the Executive committee who will meet monthly to discuss all business issues pertaining to, inter alia, business development, finance, recruitment, health and safety, marketing, IT, QA and personnel.
