Edinburgh based SaaS Organisation, that have a market leading product, are looking for an experienced Software Engineer (with good exposure using the .Net framework) to join their agile team : modern tech and hybrid working on offer. Theyve been running really successfully now for several years and their product is used worldwide, largely both within the UK and the US. Its a data focused product that is proven to enhance the efficiency within organisations and ultimately lower costs. The platform has been so successful the company have recently been acquired by a global powerhouse, as theyre looking to expand their footprint, so its a really exciting time to join. Theyre based in central Edinburgh and have a development squad of roughly seven, theyd describe themselves as a friendly and sociable bunch that endorse collaborate working and are looking for a similar fit. For this role (and all technical roles at the business) theyre ideally looking for someone that can work onsite, roughly three days per week. Youd find yourself working on their core cloud platform, which is written with a modern tech stack (.Net, SQL, Azure and VueJS). They are ideally looking for a Developer that feels comfortable across the full stack or would be open to learning some of their tech stack : as theyre happy to help people upskills here, theyve got a great L and D environment. Youll ideally have experience with most of the following; ** Modern .Net (.Net Core, ASP.Net MVC) ** Databases (SQL Server or Entity Framework) ** Modern JavaScript Libraries (ReactJS, Angular or VueJS) ** Working with an Agile environment Experience with the following is highly desirable; ** Microsoft Azure ** Microservices ** Working in a product environment The company have a great culture, several of the Software Engineers at the organisation have been there for a good amount of years, its very rare someone would have a short stint here. Ive personally helped a couple Engineers join the team and heard great things first hand. Their offices are just walking distance from Haymarket station in Edinburgh, and they support hybrid working, where youd be expected in about three days per week. In return theyre able to offer a salary from GBP30k to GBP43k for this role (although could be scope for more) on top of a good benefits package to match (Annual Bonus, 34 days holidays).
