Key Responsibilities: * Support the class teacher with the planning and delivery of lessons, acting as a Teaching Assistant in various subjects across the curriculum. * Assist with the preparation and organisation of learning resources, ensuring the classroom is well:equipped for every lesson as a Teaching Assistant. * As a Teaching Assistant, help create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that promotes learning and the development of every child. * Help support children with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning needs, ensuring that each child receives the support they require as a Teaching Assistant. * Participate in school activities and school:wide events, contributing to the overall school community as a Teaching Assistant. Essential Criteria: * Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting is preferred, but not essential. * A passion for working with children and a strong commitment to supporting their academic and personal development as a Teaching Assistant. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents. * A proactive approach, with the ability to take initiative and work effectively as part of a team. * Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude toward supporting childrens individual learning needs. Desirable: * Experience working with children who have special educational needs (SEND). * Knowledge of phonics programs and early literacy strategies. * Familiarity with supporting children in preparation for assessments or exams as a Teaching Assistant.
