Head of Business Development - MedTech Brand - Remote - Permanent£70K Base £100k OTE Year 1 About the Company Our client is a leading provider of Medical Products to both the NHS and Private Sector Healthcare authorities. They have a clear purpose; "Together we design for good and help protect people through vulnerable times". They envisage, design and deliver innovative products, which dramatically improve peoples' lives in challenging environments such as schools, hospitals and mental health facilities. Their designs make a positive difference and over the years they have invested heavily in developing an award-winning range of lifesaving products for the education and demanding mental health sectors. They've a track record of success designing and delivering best in class products that improve lives and have grown significantly in the last three years and aim to reach £30m of global revenue in the next three years. Due to continued growth and success, they are searching for an experienced and purpose driven Head of Sales to lead and develop an existing talented and dynamic UK sales team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who has passion and drive for operationalising sales and commercial strategies for our growing business. Duties and Responsibilities: The team you lead here at directly impact the growth of the business. Your responsibility is to: * Work closely with the Commercial Director to develop a sales strategy that aligns with the organisation's strategic goals * Lead the sales team to successfully execute the sales strategy with a focus on achieving agreed targets and deliverables * Apply market data, analysis and competitor insight to proactively adapt the Sales strategy and position the business as market leaders * Maintain company integrity by making the right commercial decisions for the long term * Actively lead and monitor demand generation activities, alongside the marketing team * Consistently monitor the sales activity of the team and track/optimise results * Report clearly on sales activity, forecast accurately and provide clear requirements to enable planning of resources in operational and service teams to deliver customer requirements * Communicate progress at Board, Leadership and team level to drive sponsorship and engagement at all levels * Provide support and guidance to team members, coaching them on strategies to drive sales, working with them on key account plans, facilitating deep dives and participating in client meetings where needed. * Develop a geographically dispersed team in their roles, inspiring them to do their best work. * Leverage company tools and continually look for ways to enhance sales ability and increase efficiencies Skills and Experience required: They look for people who will add to the organisation and align with their Purpose and Values.
