My client, an innovative, sustainably:minded Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their already:established team of specialist engineers, near the northern, picturesque town of Harrogate. Essential Criteria: * A Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or other similar discipline * Extensive experience of working with flood risk and drainage strategies * Demonstrable experience of writing Flood Risk Reports, producing Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs), and working with Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) * Outstanding working knowledge of the relevant Section Agreements (e.g., S104, S106, and others) * Knowledge of the relevant software packages, including TUFLOW, Flood Modeller, InfoDrainage, etc. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience of working with a team of diverse individuals, providing mentorship and leadership to junior colleagues * Demonstrable experience of developing and managing stakeholder relations It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to have the following: * Experience of managing projects or teams * Working knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant 3D design software * Good time management skills * Excellent communication skills In your exciting role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer, you will be joining a team of highly experienced design engineers, working on a number of varied, high:profile projects across the region.
