This is a broad hands:on role offering a mix of workshop: and on:site work. From mechanical assembly and stainless steel welding, sheet metal / fabrication to installations and breakdown repairs, no two weeks will look the same. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Service Engineer, Mechanical Engineer : Food Machinery, Process Equipment A Pre:delivery inspections and mechanical testing at our Leicestershire workshop A Mechanical installation and commissioning of ice cream and dairy processing machinery A Troubleshooting and repairs : both mechanical and some basic electrical A Providing on:site service and support to a UK:wide customer base A Customer training post:installation A Routine maintenance and updating technical documentation YOUR BACKGROUND: Service Engineer, Mechanical Engineer : Food Machinery, Process Equipment Were looking for a good all round mechanically biased engineer who enjoys variety and working on complex machinery. A Experience working with mechanical systems : ideally in food processing, packaging, or manufacturing environments A You will have stainless steel welding and fabrication experience A A solid understanding of mechanical and basic electrical principles A Experience working with equipment such as conveyors, fillers, hoppers, mixers, or other food processing machinery is desirable A You must be willing to travel and stay overnight when required for installations and servicing A Youll hold a full UK driving licence ABOUT US: Were the UKs leading stockist and service provider for new and used dairy and frozen food processing machinery.
