This specialist provision supports students with a wide range of needs including SEMH, Autism, ADHD, and associated conditions. Responsibilities
* Consistently Lead and manage the SEN provision across the School
* Develop and implement EHCP strategies and personalised learning plans
* Coordinate with teaching staff to ensure high:quality, differentiated classroom support
* Provide leadership and training to SEN support staff
* Liaise with external agencies, parents, and carers to ensure joined:up support
* Monitor and evaluate the progress of students with SEN, ensuring timely interventions
* Uphold and embed the Schools inclusive ethos in all aspects of provision
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
* Proven experience in a SENCO or similar leadership role within an SEN or mainstream setting
* Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, EHCP processes, and best practice
* Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
* Deep understanding of conditions such as SEMH, Autism, and ADHD
* A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
