A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is desirable but not essential for apprentices and unqualified candidates. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote childrens learning and development. Provide high:quality care and education in line with EYFS guidelines. Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Observe, assess, and record childrens progress, ensuring individual development is supported. Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment. Work effectively as part of a team with excellent communication skills. Requirements Qualified candidates : Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Childcare Qualification (or equivalent). Apprentices and Unqualified candidates : A keen interest in childcare and a willingness to learn. Knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety practices (training provided).
