Job Description : Accounts Assistant 6 month contract Department: Finance Reporting to: Company Accountant Job Overview We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our busy Accounts team. This will be a varied role which will require the role holder to carry out purchase ledger duties and ad hoc finance tasks. This role reports into the Company Accountant. Key Responsibilities * Act as the first point of contact for supplier and AP queries * Processing supplier invoices on the ledger * Processing employee expenses and credit card statements * Processing monthly BACS payments across all currencies * Ensure that supplier statements are reconciled daily. * Reviewing GRNs report daily * Preparing weekly cash flow * Assisting with audit processes * Follow a hands:off management style be shown, trained, and trusted to take ownership, support is always available when needed * Communicate across departments to resolve issues quickly and professionally * Plus ad hoc Finance duties. * If studying for AAT that would be useful
