We are actively looking to engage Graduates (who have a 2:1 degree) with a passion for the sales area of the logistics&shipping sector for our Leicester office!
Client Details
My client is a market-leader in the shipping industry and has offices based across the world. You will be joining a fast-paced environment assisting in finding sales account management solutions for some of the world's largest industrial, retail&FMCG based customers across the logistics, import&export sectors. My client focuses on searching air freight, sea freight&road freight solutions, which are both cost effective&time sensitive.
Description
As a Graduate Sales Account Manager you will be joining a team of Logistics Account Managers, reporting into the Freight Sales Manager. You will be responsible for the following areas in the Leicester office:
Generating new and existing sales across a broad import, export and freight customer worldwide market.
Sourcing and creating your own business leads and act on those provided by Sales and Operations Colleagues as well as using other tools given.
To act as the primary point of contact for quotations and enquiries for ad-hoc business.
To identify sales opportunities. Profiling all new business to understand intricately how we can support with freight / customs.
To generate new sales, linked directly to the current business plan. Focus and drive to achieve targets.
Use the CRM system to effectively record, manage and develop opportunities
Providing high levels of account management and customer service.Profile
The successful Graduate Sales Account Manager will first&foremost have a passion to join the Sales area of the Logistics&Supply Chain sectors, along with the following extra attributes:
A Degree (2:1 minimum) - of any categorisation
Work experience around either the customer service, sales, commercial or logistics&supply chain sector would be advantageous, but not essential.
A flair for providing high levels of engagement and customer contact to high-value accounts
The ability to commute to Leicester on a daily basisJob Offer£32,000-£40,000 - Basic Salary
