Location: Leicester
Hours: Full or part-time considered (3-5 days per week to suit)
Package: Salary £35,000-£40,000(dependent on hours/qualification/experience) plus Bonus,&Company Benefits

Due to retirement, we are urgently seeking an experienced and qualified management accountant to join our dynamic team at our North Leicester offices, either on a full- or part-time basis.
The Management Accountant Role&Responsibilities
As a pivotal member of our team, you will play a strategic role in the financial management of our operation. The role will be site based, whilst for the right candidate we could potentially accommodate one day a week working from home.
Please note, we are open minded to appointing either a part-qualified person on a full-time basis or fully qualified individual on a part time basis (3 days minimum).
Responsibilities shall include:
Preparation of detailed monthly management accounts for submission to head office
Submissionof quarterly VAT returns
Banking and cash management
Setting up and maintaining Opera system entries, transactions, and code allocations
Supporting the wider business with financial queries
Ad-hoc reporting as required
Balance sheet reconciliation
Credit control
Acting as a key point of contact forexternal auditors
Ensuring timely submission of year-end information
Monitoring controls, including aged debtors, purchase orders, and payroll
Participation in the creation of annual operational budgets and forecasts in collaboration with the site management team
Do you have the correct profile?
To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
Previous professional experience in a similar role
Professional accountancy qualification (part or fully qualified in AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office suite, with advanced Excel proficiency
High levels of accuracy&attention to detail
Knowledge of financial management systems, Opera Accounting system experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive attitude with a commitment to integrity and dedication
Experience in financial analysis and presentation
