This is a vital leadership role, and were looking for someone who can start immediately and hit the ground running. Location: Liverpool Start Date: ASAP Competitive Pay Rates (Negotiable, Based on experience) Key Responsibilities: * Oversee school finances, budgeting, and financial reporting. * Manage HR processes, including recruitment, compliance and absence tracking. * Lead site management, premises maintenance, and health and safety. * Handle school administration : policies, procedures, and systems. * Work closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders on strategic planning. * Liaise with external agencies, suppliers, and the local authority. * Ensure GDPR compliance and support safeguarding protocols. Essential Experience and Skills: * Previous experience as a School Business Manager (primary or secondary). * Strong knowledge of school finance systems (SIMS, FMS, or similar). * Confident in managing budgets, payroll, procurement, and HR functions. * Excellent organisational and communication skills. * Up:to:date DBS on the update service (or willing ). * Able to work independently and as part of a leadership team. * Knowledge of educational policies, funding, and compliance.
