Developing a security roadmap and providing technical assurance internally is a pivotal part of the role, strong understanding of security design, vulnerability management, IT disaster recovery and business continuity is key. Partnering with the SOC team, security architecture, engineering function and IT leadership is essential on a daily/weekly basis to ensure compliance acrossthe companies entire estate. This role is a management role leading a team of 6-7 resources and has an allocated budget to utilise where required. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years+ experience leading a Cyber Security Assurance function or similar such as Cyber Security Integration function, CyberSecurity Engineering function with some experience of assurance testing techniques and methodologies. Advanced knowledge and an understanding of operational excellence in Cloud Security Posture Management and Vulnerability Management programs. Understanding risk, resource availability and businessobjectives at a group level is necessary. Putting customers interests at the heart of everything done must always come first. An understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks such as National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF) and ISA/IEC 62443, ISO/IEC 27001/27002, GDPR.
