Summary A not-for-profit is looking for an ambitious Finance Manager to join the director in managing the day to day of finance and helping improve processes, systems and procedures. Our Client Community is at the forefront of this small not for profit, supporting and providing space for growth, learning and development. They manage property and assets and need someone to join their team to tighten up processes and manage operational finance.  The Role Lead on the effective day-to-day operation of the finance function, systems and processes, being the face of finance.  Ensure planning, delivery and execution of year end and audit.  Being the key liaison for the company with external parties including the External Auditor, BankRelationship Manager, HMRC, payroll administrator, pension provider and credit card payment systems. Provide leadership and mentoring to those in finance and the wider organisation, building and maintaining strong positive working relationships internally.  Take overall responsibility for the accounting system ensuring accuracy with timeliness of information, approving invoices, all journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations. The Successful Candidate Part or fully qualified accountant  Double entry bookkeeping  Preferably management experience  Experience using finance accounting systems and strong Excel skills  What's on offer? £45,000 - £65,000 salary p/a dependent on experience 4-5 days a week in the office, based either in Watford or Central
