My client are a leading medium-sized contractor specializing in façade solutions for diverse construction projects across London. As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor within our Façades Division, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills alongside experienced professionals in the field. Role Overview: As a Graduate Quantity Surveyor within our Façades Division, you will play a vital role in supporting the commercial aspects of our projects from inception to completion. Working closely withour experienced Quantity Surveyors and Project Managers, you will gain hands-on experience in quantity surveying practices specific to façade construction while contributing to the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: 1. Cost Management: Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for façade projects. 2. Procurement: Support the procurement process by preparing tender documents, evaluating subcontractor quotations, and negotiating contracts. 3. Contract Administration: Assist in the administration of contracts, including the review and negotiation of contractual terms and conditions. 4. Variations and Valuations: Assist in the identification, measurement, and valuation of variations to the contract scope, ensuring accurate and timely submissions. 5. Commercial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of commercial reports, including cost-to-complete assessments, cash flow projections, and risk assessments. 6. Client and Stakeholder Management: Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolution of commercial issues. 7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. 2. Strong analytical and numerical skills, with attention to detail. 3.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues at all levels. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel. 6.
