DESCRIPTION  Head of Operations   Currys London Campus at Waterloo (LHO004) Permanent Full Time Grade 6   The MVNO team are at the heart of realising our strategic ambition and plan. This opportunity is for someone with a passion for delivering business value, each and every time, through the successful execution of technology, people and business process enabled change.   As the Head Of Operations for iD Mobile, you will be responsible for driving operational performance within the business unit and our partners ensuring business continuity and efficiency    This position requires a strategic mindset, exceptional leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of the UK mobile telecommunications solutions.   iD Mobile is one of the fastest growing MVNOs ever in the UK market. We quickly grew to over 1.6 million subscribers as a disruptive new entrant, levering our unique position as the only network owned by Currys (a FTSE 250 company). iD is one of the main strategic growth opportunities for Currys, underpinning its mobile category.   As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:  •    With the Operations Director, develop and execute operational strategiesaligned with iD Mobile's business objectives and market demands. •    Identify opportunities for operational improvements, process automation, and cost optimisation. •    Oversee regular analysis of operational performance metrics and implement action plans for continuous improvement. •    Oversee the management and performance of iD Mobile's network infrastructure and systems. •    Establish and maintain strong relationships with network infrastructure providers, technology vendors, and service partners. •    Responsible for development and implementation of revenue assurance strategies and controls to minimise revenue leakage. •    Monitor billing systems, processes, and revenue streams to ensure accuracy and completeness. •    Lead and inspire a team of operations professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.   You will need: •   Proven experience in operations management within the telecommunications industry, preferably with MVNO experience in the UK market. •    Deep knowledge of UK mobile network infrastructure, technology, and services. •    Excellent leadership and people management skills •    Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation. •    In-depth experience in business intelligence and data analytics, preferably within the telecommunications industry. •    Strong understanding of revenue assurance principles and best practices. •    Strong project management skills   Beyond that, we’ll be with you every step of the way, enabling you to get the most out of your role, grow your skills your way, and see your career develop in the way you want.
