SEN Support TA and Trainee TA - North West London We are looking for a passionate individual who wants to begin working and training as a Children's SEND Teaching Assistant who will support our school in Uxbridge by helping children and young people with a variety of needs. Some of our students are non-verbal and with such a wide range of learning difficulties. Students are supported by a multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Art Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists. Some students may also have physical disabilities and are wheelchair users. Being able to use Makaton (sign language) or PECs is ideal. Personal Care (feeding and toileting) and hydrotherapy are required as this is a part of the job. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who want to move into a career in teaching.
