Key Responsibilities: * Health and safety * Control and implement health, safety, quality and environmental requirements, supported by full briefing * Contribute to Plan development with the Project Manager and Project Engineer * Plan day to day requirements of the Project works Package to produce effective use of all resources to minimise snagging * Leading an installation team, including subcontractors, suppliers, and 3rd parties, including implementation of the health, safety, environmental and quality standards into construction planning and works. * Manage and coordinate with supervisors to ensure the works are raised and planned safely on site * Organise suppliers and sub-contractors to achieve efficient integration into the Plan * Oversee site compliance and construction process * Assess and adequately mitigate all risks including those associated with working within the railway environment * Ensure correct positioning/sequencing of plant and equipment for optimum use by on-site teams&personnel * Creation of work package plans, task briefing sheets and management through to acceptance * Working with all stakeholders to communicate what needs to be done and build up good relationships * Management and compilation of BS7671 and other standard test results * Creation of ITP’s to include safe switching, isolation and re-energisation procedures through * to acceptance * Shift reporting Experience required: * Railway sector experience * Electrically biased * Thorough knowledge of M&E/E&P installations * Previously managed teams on site * LV experience - 650v, points heating, DNO's, signalling power, Junction
