This consultancy have multiple offices across the UK and are now looking to develop their team in the Manchester office. The Senior Geotechnical and Geo:Environmental Engineer selected will have a variety of responsibilities. These include: * Building and leading a ground investigation team through a variety of projects, ensuring smooth development and delivery, project managing at times. * Liaising closely with clients, contributing to business development, contract managing, tendering and team development. * Overseeing site work. * Writing and reviewing factual and interpretive reports. * Mentoring junior team members. As a result, the Senior Geotechnical and Geo:Environmental Engineer role requires previous experience in a similar role, with extensive knowledge of site investigation practices and leading/mentoring a team. You should have an industry relevant degree (for example geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental science etc), ideally have or be working towards chartership, hold a full UK Driving Licence, have a full right to work in the UK and be commutable to the Manchester area.
