Responsibilities Operates effectively and energetically as part of a wider team, maintaining a high level of service Understands and keep up to date with current security, GDPR procedures and CCTV codes of practice, ensuring that standards are maintained. Respect and comply with the company confidentiality policy Manage absence, team performance, 1 to1’s&Personal Development Reviews Develop robust departmental processes, policies and procedures to sustain a high level of service to all internal and external customers Manage and maintain access to control room to comply with security procedures and BS Control and review downloaded footage and investigate, responding and escalating appropriately Confidently supply extracts from CCTV recordings to support investigations and evidence in-line with security procedures Produce accurate and timely management information and reports Share the responsibility of the escalation/contingency process during unsociable hours Use databases and computer systems to gather, monitor, accurately record and communicate information to appropriate personnel Monitor, operate and communicate downtime / issues relating to all forms of equipment Support senior management in shaping and implementation of a clear long-term strategy for the business aimed at delivering high quality security and profitability aligned to the budget. Provide regular feedback to manufacturers, suppliers and technical colleagues on performance and improvement areas identified Effective line-management of control room supervisors and inclusive team leadership Ensure appropriate training is in place for all team members Deliver Customer Service Excellence using the tools and framework already established in the business Ensure the wellbeing and engagement of the team is upheld to a high standard Requirements * Have extensive knowledge and experience of managing / supervising an ARC / CCTV control room(s) * Extensive experience of managing teams and individuals, ideally including teams working shifts * Innovation focused, with a proven track record of leveraging advancements in technology to drive efficiency * SIA licence holder * Holds Health, Safety&Security as core values * Excellent IT skills both in terms of standard packages (Excel / PowerPoint etc.) and CCTV software / VMS * Ability to adapt to new technologies&IT systems * Ability to manage businesses challenges and opportunities to deliver effective performance * Ability to effectively manage conflict and negotiation * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels across the organisation and externally * Ability to build effective working relationships, with people at all levels across the organisation and externally and to influence others * Ability to use initiative and good judgement when responding to emerging situations, deciding and executing appropriate actions * Calm and dependable in emergency situations * Ability and desire to provide excellent customer service * Clear drive and ambition * Industry related qualification(s) / management qualifications * Have a solid and in-depth knowledge of ARC/CCTV monitoring station * Experience in managing operations / projects– in CCTV&security Experience in managing CCTV / Security operations&projects is
