Key Responsibilities for the Teaching Assistant: * Work as a Teaching Assistant within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children in their learning and development. * Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with varying needs, helping to build their communication, social, and motor skills. * Collaborate with teachers and EYFS staff to deliver engaging and child:centred activities. * Support children with toileting, feeding, and other basic care needs as required in the EYFS setting. * Help create a calm, structured, and stimulating environment for learning through play. * Observe and track pupil progress under the guidance of the class teacher and contribute to EYFS assessments. * Maintain strong communication with parents, staff, and external professionals when needed. Requirements for the Teaching Assistant: * Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within an EYFS or early primary setting. * A caring, patient, and proactive attitude suited to working with young children. * Understanding of the EYFS framework and child development. * Willingness to commit full:time and long:term from September. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a warm and professional team.
