What Youll Do: Technical Support: * Be the go:to expert for technical queries:phone, email, remote login and CRM. * Troubleshoot hardware, controls, and systems:especially in smoke ventilation, BMS or fire safety installs. * Translate complex issues into clear, practical guidance for installers and end:users. * Support field engineers when they need backup, guidance, or verification. Continuous Improvement: * Spot recurring issues and flag them for engineering or product review. * Your insight will directly influence product design and future features. * Build internal knowledge bases and contribute to training and tools. * Keep meticulous records of issues, fixes, and escalations. What You Bring: Essential: * Proven experience in technical support, helpdesk or remote engineer roles. * Strong IT, systems, and fault:finding knowledge (hardware/software). * Confident communicator:calm under pressure, clear under stress. * Familiarity with ticketing systems, remote access tools, and CRMs. * Electrically competent:able to read wiring schematics and system layouts. Preferred: * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent). * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. * Experience with smoke control, HVAC, fire safety systems, or BMS. * Background in install, commissioning, or service. * Knowledge of PAT, RAMS, and compliance requirements.
