About the role; * This teaching assistant role is to support as a general teaching assistant within the early years in an outstanding two form entry primary school located in the heart of a vibrant and thriving community. * The role is to start as soon as possible and on a long:term basis with temp to perm in place from the get:go. * This is to work Monday to Friday; each week and the hours will be 8am until 3:30pm with a 30:minute dinner break. * As a teaching assistant you will support the teacher in the delivery of the Early Years Curriculum to the Early Years pupils, working in partnership with parents, teachers, and the school to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make excellent progress. * As a teaching assistant you will plan and lead one to one teaching and interventions with children within the EYFS. The ideal EYFS Teaching assistant will: * As a teaching assistant you will have experience working within the early years either in a school setting, private nursery setting or any other similar EYFS setting. * As a teaching assistant you will have a sound knowledge of the early years curriculum and be able to provide 2 work/education:based references, one from your most recent place of employment and covering a 3:year period * As a teaching assistant you will have a Level 3 Relevant qualification is desirable but not essential * As a teaching assistant you will have well:developed interpersonal skills : the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to a range of audiences. * As a teaching assistant you will be able to plan, organise and prioritise. * As a teaching assistant you will be able to manage good communications systems.
