Key Responsibilities As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring products and processes meet high:quality standards. You will work closely with the Operations and Quality departments to ensure compliance with business and customer requirements. Your responsibilities will include: Implementing and managing inspection and certification control plans Supporting contract reviews with the Project Management team Leading APQP requirements such as PPAP and FAIRs Conducting visual and dimensional inspections for process production part approval Supporting final inspections of completed components or assemblies, including sign:off Providing manufacturing support to production areas for quality:related issues Updating or implementing procedures as needed Evaluating measurement systems Actively supporting the business with its QMS and ISO : accreditation Performing internal audits of processes and maintaining audit schedules Managing non:conformance issues and reporting performance metrics Accomplishing regular product sample and process audits on the shop floor Qualifications and Experience Educated to Diploma or Degree level (or equivalent), ideally in an engineering environment Strong experience working with defence standards In:depth knowledge of technical documentation, including engineering drawings Experience in electronics:based product manufacturing, with familiarity in electronic/electrical components and cabling Excellent interpersonal, communication, and report:writing skills The ability to work independently as well as part of a team Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure Desirable Familiarity with ISO : and QMS practices Experience with continuous improvement initiatives Additional Information Benefits: 26 days holiday + Bank Holidays (increasing with service) Discretionary annual bonus Pension (5 employee, 4 employer via salary sacrifice) One month notice period after probation Development opportunities and Employee Share Scheme after 12 months Access to healthcare benefits, including dependent cover, gym discounts, retail and travel schemes, and a wellbeing app Cycle to Work Scheme and EV Scheme Apply please follow the application process for the site this job is advertised on or you can send your CV directly to or call for more information.
