We specialise in a diverse range of residential projects, including barn conversions, listed building renovations, house extensions, and new builds, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and quality design. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Architectural Technician/Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail, with experience in working on a variety of residential projects from inception to completion. Key Responsibilities but not limited to: * Assist in the preparation and development of detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction projects. * Collaborate with architects and other team members to ensure designs are technically feasible and meet regulatory standards. * Conduct site visits and surveys to gather essential information for project development. * Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery. * Utilise CAD software and other relevant tools to produce accurate and high:quality technical documentation. * Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards. * Provide technical support and guidance throughout the construction process. Qualifications: * Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within an architectural practice. * Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools. * Competent in Microsoft Office. * Skilled in writing NBS specifications and technical detailing. * Strong understanding of building regulations and British Standards. * Knowledge of UK planning legislation. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
