They specialise in the design and assembly of scientific machinery for a variety of R and D Environments. With a low turnover of staff, the company are now looking to bring on a mechanical engineer due to an upcoming retirement. Full training will be provided. Role and Responsibilities: * Produce 2D Drawings using DesignCAD * Design vacuum:based instrumentation * Utilize 3D for assembly reviews * Design for Polymers, Alloys, Bronxe and Stainless Steel * Work as the sole mechanical engineer after a hand:over period Knowledge, Skills and Experience: * Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering * Knowledge and experience of 2D and 3D Design * Able to problem solve and take on new challenges * Experience with Ultra high vacuum systems would be an advantage * Experience of High:Voltage Ion:optics woulld be an advantage If you are interested in this position please click apply.
