CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Research and Development Scientist to join a leading global diagnostics company based in Southampton. Your duties will include to: Line management of a team of scientists, being responsible for their work planning, delivery of work packages and personal development Review experimental plans, data analysis and reports, providing feedback to junior staff and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory standards Keeping up to date with the latest in technological advancements in the field Presentation of work to management team The provision of expert technical support and problem solving for customers and the manufacturing team Provide training for team members, both on-the-job and by giving training presentations. Writing and reviewing SOPs and Quality Protocols Your Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years’ experience in industry or equivalent. Previous qPCR knowledge and hands-on experience, including problem solving. Ability to plan experiments, problem solve and progress projects independently.
