About the role; * This teaching assistant role is to support as a general teaching assistant in an good two form entry primary school located in the heart of a vibrant and thriving community. * The role is to start as soon as possible and on a long:term basis with temp to perm in place from the get:go. * This is to work Monday to Friday; each week and the hours will be 8am until 3:30pm with a 30:minute dinner break. * As a teaching assistant you will support the teacher in the delivery of the Curriculum to pupils, working in partnership with parents, teachers, and the school to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which children make excellent progress. * As a teaching assistant you will plan and lead one to one teaching and interventions with children. The ideal Teaching assistant will: * As a teaching assistant you will have experience working within the early years either in a school setting, private nursery setting or any other similar setting. * As a teaching assistant you will have a sound knowledge of the early years curriculum and be able to provide 2 work/education:based references, one from your most recent place of employment and covering a 3:year period * As a teaching assistant you will have a Level 3 Relevant qualification is desirable but not essential * As a teaching assistant you will have well:developed interpersonal skills : the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing to a range of audiences. * As a teaching assistant you will be able to plan, organise and prioritise. * As a teaching assistant you will be able to manage good communications systems.
