Full:Time Learning Support Assistant : SEN Support Sutton ASAP Start Mainstream Primary School Supporting Pupils with ASD and Dyslexia Long:Term Role A welcoming mainstream primary school in Sutton is looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Dyslexia. This is a full:time role, starting ASAP, with the opportunity to become a long:term fixture within a committed and nurturing SEN team. Learning Support Assistant Role Overview: * Position: Learning Support Assistant (SEN Focus) * Start Date: ASAP * Contract Type: Full Time, Long Term * Location: Sutton, London Borough * School Type: Mainstream Primary Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities: * Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with ASD and Dyslexia * Implement tailored strategies to help pupils access the curriculum * Assist in creating and delivering differentiated learning activities * Work closely with the SENCO, class teacher, and external specialists * Foster an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment Ideal Candidate: * Must have previous experience working with children with ASD and/or Dyslexia * Strong communication and relationship:building skills * Calm, patient, and proactive approach * Able to follow and contribute to individual learning and behaviour plans * Passionate about inclusive education and making a lasting impact Pay Range: GBP85:GBP100 per day (depending on experience) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am : 3:45pm This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward:thinking school with a strong commitment to inclusion and SEN support.
