Quality Engineer : Infrastructure Manufacturer Location:Swadlincote Salary: GBP 40,000 : GBP 42,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours:40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Holidays:23 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays Key Responsibilities : Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements : Conduct inspections and testing of plastic fabricated products to ensure they meet specifications : Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive action initiatives : Support continuous improvement activities to enhance product quality and reduce waste : Manage documentation related to quality standards, audits, and certifications : Liaise with production, engineering, and customer service teams to resolve quality issues : Assist in preparing for and conducting internal and external audits Requirements : Proven experience in a Quality Engineer role, ideally within plastic fabrication, manufacturing, or a related industry : Strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, lean manufacturing principles) : Excellent problem:solving and analytical skills : Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments : Attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality management
