Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the following role: Supplier Quality Management Engineer : GBP 34/hr (Inside IR35) : Midlands/Hybrid : 12 Months (potential for yearly renewal) Position Description: Supplier Quality Management Engineering focuses on planning, organizing, directing, and reporting on supplier provided raw materials, designed/manufactured goods, and packaging materials to ensure they meet or exceed requirements. Responsibilities: : Verifying and validating that suppliers and/or subcontractors have received engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements : Monitoring quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities : Ensuring programs are in place to improve supplier performance and productivity : Reviewing and analysing corrective action reports to reduce/eliminate defects. May perform deviation investigations into quality issues. Skills/Experience required: : Ideally degree educated or significant relevant automotive engineering experience : Must have prior experience within an Automotive Supplier Quality role : Must be able to travel to client and supplier locations, mainly in the Midlands area. Additional Information: : Position will be Warwickshire or Coventry based with hybrid potential : More than 50 of the time working in supplier sites, some home working can be included but primarily it will be either supplier visit or client site. : Applicants must have a valid driving license and willing to travel within the UK, mostly around the Midlands.
